Label Company Launches Tool for Calculating the Size of a Bottle Label

Longwood, Fla. — Consolidated Label, a leading pressure sensitive label and flexible packaging manufacturer, announces the launch of an exclusive tool designed to overcome one of the label industry's most common problems: calculating the appropriate label dimensions for bottles and cylindrical containers. Located in a newly developed area of the Company's website, the Bottle Label Calculator allows a customer to enter in a few simple measurements from a container or bottle, and it will immediately determine an appropriate label size.

The Bottle Label Calculator is another addition to the Company's ongoing campaign of creating public, online tools to inform and educate on the technical side of the custom product label business. This year Consolidated Label also introduced a number of informative videos designed to support this goal and bring clarity to customers' various questions.

Labeling Company Brings Shrink Sleeves to the Middle Market

Orlando, Fla. — Consolidated Label, Inc., one of the leading pressure sensitive and flexible packaging manufacturers in the country, today announced the launch of Shrink Sleeve product packaging capabilities to its already vast array of core offerings.

The Company, known for providing affordable labeling solutions to small and large businesses, is now making it a top priority to deliver quality shrink sleeves to middle market customers as an alternative to labels alone. Unlike adhesive labels, shrink sleeves showcase the bottle or package with vibrant colors in 360 degrees with full graphic impact.

"While there's a great deal of challenges with the printing and production processes of shrink sleeves, we adopted it into our business because of the numerous benefits it had to our customers," said Joel Carmany, president of Consolidated Label, Inc. "In fact, one of the biggest benefits is the entire package and label can be recycled as no adhesives are used within the shrink sleeve process."

In order to print and produce shrink sleeves, the Company has completely revamped old and introduced new processes to meet the manufacturing demands of shrink sleeves. This includes more advanced equipment, enhanced safety and revisions to quality control.

Beginning with pre-production, the quality control methods include prototyping and distortion testing of the design prior to manufacturing the final product. Another unique element to the Company's quality control is an air-pressure system to discover any tears or gaps in the shrink sleeve seam. Lastly, before the sleeves are finished, samples are tested to ensure the sleeves conform perfectly to the customer's container.

Label Manufacturer Awarded Top Industry Honor for Ninth Time

Orlando, Fla. — Consolidated Label Company, one of the largest pressure sensitive label and flexible packaging manufacturers in the country, has once again been honored with the Eugene Singer Award marking the ninth consecutive year receiving one of the industry's top honors.

The Eugene Singer Award, one of highest honors given by the Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute (TLMI,) recognizes excellence in business management. Executives from Consolidated Label accepted the award in the 'Large Company' category at the TLMI Converter Meeting held in Palm Beach, Fla.

"Accepting the Eugene Singer Award this year was even more of an honor than in years past," added Joel Carmany, president of Consolidated Label. "It reflects our continued commitment to integrity, superior customer service and desire to grow with each and every customer we have."

The TLMI Eugene Singer Awards, given since 1986, honors companies for excellence in business management as defined by an established set of growth and profitability ratios through the TLMI Management Ratio Study.
