Custom Honey Labels Help Non-Profit With Fundraising Efforts

No job is too big or too small at Consolidated Label, and there is no better example than our recent custom honey labels project with Hope Stone, Inc., a non-profit organization based out of Houston, TX. With a small quantity order size and a quick turnaround request, this project presented challenges on both ends. By working together and understanding the needs of both parties, the end result was perfection!

Who is Hope Stone?

Hope Stone, Inc. has been providing outreach and support services in the Houston area through dance and other performing arts since 1997. Like most non-profits, Hope Stone has limited resources and relies on fundraising efforts to keep its programs going. The organization hosts an annual fundraising gala with a different theme each year as a fun, engaging way to raise funds for its art outreach program for kids and professional dance company.

The Project Needs

For this year’s theme, “Country Fried Breakfast for Dinner,” Hope Stone wanted to give guests takeaway bags with assorted breakfast treats; one of them being local honey donated from harvester Shelley Rice. Hope Stone knew they needed jar lid honey labels for its “Hope Honey” gift in order to capture the event’s theme and promote the organization’s identity. Given the project’s unique label needs, Hope Stone researched multiple label manufacturers and found that Consolidated would be an ideal choice to fit their label specifications.

The end result was perfection!  I couldn’t have been happier with the labels, and everyone including the honey harvester filling the jars commented on how great the labels were…I am grateful for your help and appreciate such great customer service. – Amy Pearl Reagan, Hope Stone, Inc.

Finding a Label Solution

Amy Pearl Reagan, VP and managing director of Hope Stone, was on a tight deadline and needed the honey labels in one week. Given the short time frame and small label quantity, digital printing was decided to be the best option for Hope Stone’s order. Once the rep received the artwork, label artists made their adjustments to better ensure it printed well in the desired label size, a 2.375” circular label.

The rep also helped Reagan choose label materials – a semi-gloss paper with gloss laminate – that would achieve a professional look and feel, yet fit within Hope Stone’s budget. Committed to satisfying Hope Stone’s deadline, our customer service, art and production teams were able to ship the honey labels five days after from when the order was first placed.

The Final Result: Beautiful Custom Honey Labels

Hope Stone received its labels on schedule and had enough time to apply the labels to its honey jars before the fundraising gala. Not only was Hope Stone satisfied with the order’s speed, but with the quality of labels as well.

In the end, Hope Stone’s custom labels helped the organization impress guests with personalized gifts while reinforcing the organization’s professional image. Hope Stone looks forward to working with Consolidated on multiple projects in the future.
